Hi,

We at G&E are having an open weekend where you can come along and see what we do.
We are holding this on the weekend 4th-5th September and is totally free to come along and check us out.

Many of our models will be on hand for you to meet and talk to and they will be available to pose for you to try out your cameras with our equipment.

Come and see for yourselves what we are about and what we are acheiving here in sunny Clacton-On-Sea, Essex.

We will be doing a charity bikini car wash on the same day so get your car cleaned at the same time!!

Hi Emma,

We did say before that we do not promote models who live too far from us and are on other sites/agencies etc. We only promote models we know or have worked with so we can guarantee them to our clients.
If you are prepared to come for a test shoot then we will gladly promote you, although we ask for exclusivity which we do not think you would be interested in.
We do have a couple of models on our books who are not exclusive, but to be fair to them and in all honesty they would be far better advised ( which we have ) to carry on promoting themselves as it has worked for them up until now.

We are not just another agency who take models from all over the uk and do not know them.We know all our models which is how and why we can guarantee them to our clients. 99% of them live local also so save travel costs to customers.

So youd let me work for you if im 100% exclusive and dont accept any work outside of you thus you gain a percentage of EVERYTHING i earn modelling related....?

No Emma we only take percentage from work WE get you not anything else you do.
We have models with the same contract.If they model/dance before they come to us then we most certainly do not take percentages from them for their other work Unlike many that i could mention.

This is another reason we do not promote models from all over the web. We get work for them and they cant do it due to other commitments.No point wasting theirs and our time.
Please take the time to read what we are doing on our site before making the assumption we are like every other agency in this country. WE ARE NOT and will never be so.

My name is Michelle, I run Magik which is a glamour/editorial model agency

I know that post was not directed at me (well I hope it was not), I do not know of ANY model agency who deducts a percentage from work that the models get themselves and you are inferring in your post that many do.

ive never worked thru an agency and when g and e said work for them exclusivly then i would immediatly assume that meant only work thru the work the agency gets you and no other, or if you do get other work then they get a percentage
Ive only joined micheal ross models so far so i havent got much of a clue when it comes to agencys to be honest but who knows

I'd like to know what UK glamour agencies take commission from every job a model gets even if it's not through them...

I have heard of split commissions... This is when one agency obtains work for a model who is exclusive to another and so the model doesn't pay out twice... I've never heard such rubbish.

How can you guarantee your models are 100% reliable because they're worked with you..... DUH. If a model changes her mind.. She changes her mind.. What do you do drive them to every shoot and stand over them with a whip to make sure they work... !!!!!

As for Emma B going to you for a test shoot... Why the f**k does she need to do that ? She has her own pay site as well as working for Sky as she's said and other photographers.. I'm shooting her Sunday with Sahara... I didn't need to do a test shoot to see if she was ok !!!!

if a model isnt new then surely the pics she sends to an agency are enough!
