"When I say 'unprofessional' referring to boy/girl etc, you get photographers who do say that 'unless yr willing to do almost anything then you wont get anywhere in this industry and you cant get called a professional'"

Cobblers! The people you are talking about are the sleaze balls of the industry. Their aim is to get you, a naive, newish, model, to do all kinds of sleazy degrading shit, for next to no money, before you twig on what rates you should be demanding and what jobs you should be doing, or not doing - doing really sleazy shitty stuff can seriously damage your future prospects of 'quality' work, as another model has found out in an agacent thread. By calling you unprofessional for turning your nose up at their naff work, they are playing on your naivety, hoping to make you feel foolish and guilty enough to acquiesce to their pervy plans. Is Teresa May unprofessional? Is Adele Stephens unprofessional? Is Lana Cox unprofessional? Is Kellemarie unprofessional? Er, no actually, they're the Premier League of adult modelling and they would never countenance doing the stuff that we can only imagine has been suggested to you. So the next time someone suggests that you have to do this and you have to do that, just say - "Get lost perv, I'm far to good for your skanky little film and you can't afford me. Hey, what's the matter with you, do I look like a chav bird?

Personally, if I'm seriously enthused about a model and know I can do something with the footage - like sell it to eager punters - I can make time, any time, for a shoot. Unfortunately, it takes an awful lot to get me (and my punters) enthused nowadays ? Like maybe an Aria Giovanni, Adele, Kellemarie combo shoot, or suchlike

Ive been unemployed for over a year looking for work and i used to advertise looking for work on a weekly basis and i just didnt get enough offers and so i decided to cut modelling down part time and work full time since i was getting less then part time wrong from it. I did say for a while i was modelling full time so i could get more work for a couple of months but i ddint get anything from it, also when i advertised doing boy/girl i got two shoots in 6months so i pulled it from my list since noone was interested and my partner decided he no longer wanted to do it with me. I did try to extend my limits and my days avaliable but still noone was interested! my rates are not even high so i dunno i guess im just an ugly bitch! lol.. :)

Im just ranting ignore me but seriously, if you model full time and you get 2 offers a month or less surely it just makes you want to do it part time?

emma, when i took a full time job i found it worked well on the amateur scene cos most amateurs as u say have 9-5's to. so they can shoot u when ur both free.

i dont see what the problem is.

i would get booked up 4 weeks in advance cos my modeling time was so restricted.
and telling guys that makes them wanna book u all the more.

Some of the models I know, who you might think have disappeared off the scene (like Lucy Gresty) are busier now than ever. In fact it's very difficult to get a (professional) date with them. It's always "Oh sorry Dibbs, I can't. I've got an amateur shoot in the afternoon and then I've got a stripping job at a pub in the evening, the I'm off the such and such studio next day, and next week is out bcause a I'm off on a shoot in Switzerland. My dairies fairly empty next month though".

What I suggest is look through the Yellow Pages, find all the camera clubs in your area and send them details of who you are and what you do. Checkout the possibilities of lap dancing and stripping. The upshot is there's no need to be skint. Even models that don't look like Adele or Lana you can still earn a dam good living (without having to do anything gross) if they get their heads screwed on right. You have a product and service men want - sex, in whatever form. It may just be a question of finding which niche in the adult entertainment industry you are most suited to.

Emma

Have you tried Babe Station or the other Sky channels that have 5 girls+ a night on our screens. Have you applied to model agencies that have offices, like Walpole or Magik Models, where you can meet the agency staff and not just via email ?

There are a lot of options and in the UK doing b/g isn't a necessity at all, as it is over the pond, where only 5% of adult production is g/g.
