Condoms - time for a change?

Post by marcusallen »

Various STD's are beginning to be the norm and thankfully, clinical procedures are diagnosing earlier than in the past. However, that does not solve the problem and more frequent tests have little relevance in this context. Therefore:

Since punters purchase sex videos for the vicarious pleasure of watching others in action, why not make it safer for the performers themselves whilst educating the public at the same time?

Porn was virtually born in the Country many years ago - we(the UK) were the pioneers and so perhaps it is time to come full circle.

The US especially, but not exclusively -stretched the boundaries of sex to points beyond even degradation, violence and abuse to a point where the questions is "What the hell next"?

Sex vids should be (and generally are) designed to titillate, arouse, excite and entertain their viewers. The fact that the public want to see a man ejaculate is irrelevant in the general context. Sure they can have/see that, but why is it necessary to see him fucking bareback?

In an allied business, condoms are mandatory and the pleasure does not suffer or diminish.

I know many girls who would gladly enter this biz if they felt safe but bits of paper have as much effect as saying "Dont't worry about a thing, I love/respect you"!!

There are a (very) few companies that film with condoms and whilst they are far from major players, they earn a decent living and girls are happy to work for them.

I suggest we all have a re-think.

Hay...Im cool with using them to be onnist , as i can perform using one. But! There are a few guys out there who cant.....for one reason or another, even though they are fine with out one.

Would this make it harder to get reliable performance guys?? Might do me a favour actually.

Bookings now being taken!

ON the other hand, whould it make people too relaxed in getting checked, and actually make the whole thing worse buy spreading stuff more freguently due to it?

Hmmm ?

Condoms shoots dont sell???
Really.. Our content is shot with swinger ethics in mind.
Even tested.. we use condoms.. Its 2004 not 1994..
If you think our content doesn't sell. I suggest you cantact Netpond, Rude Brit, Playhouse, Opera, PRO, Fantasy etc as well as check out our traffic stats at alexa.com re
Fact - "condom scenes do sell, big time"
I accept that you personally may perfer non condom penetration, ATM etc which all looks great but I simply won't take the risk..
Changes in legislation will eventually come and I for one, not only the performers to survive but also our company..

Hmmmm! Whata tricky subject really...thers t4eh morals of showing the world we care about the safe sex issues, but also wanting to keep the punters who buy it happy....is there and commosn ground...or just no mans land.

To watch i prefer un covered, and to perform the same of course...lots better. Bu im very aware of the issues of showing that we are a responcible industry.

Ive seen on US production an intro where a lass goes over the resposbiblity it is to wear condoms for safe sex, but the video will show uncovered sex, but the performers have been tested for the usuals. Maybe do the same on the UK market ones.

Its a risk for every one, but as long as everyone is being sensible, we all should be ok. Ive not actually caught anything during my time as a performer, ive caught more from out side, but its still scary and im aware of the risks.

Just one more thing, if performers arent being sensible about what they do, then remember one thing...... Its not just your life your playing with...its all of ours!

On a lighter note... KYM! Hope you havent got to many bumps on ya head from Fridays Fridge top shoot! Maybe you should nhave worn a helmet....now thers another twist on safe sex!
