As much as i like the BGAFD site i do find the ACTRESSES link too much to wade through, and think in could include extra stuff. What do you think?
Here's some suggestions:
1.Some sort of search option so that displays only the girls that fit the search request. Enter 'blonde' and all the blonds are listed. Enter an age range and only girls in that are range are displayed. Enter a boob size... etc, ect.
2.Instead of a list of names, and page of thumbnails (showing a face shot) complete with models name, would be really helpful,
3.Maybe asking too much, but: If a model is active/working a link to her agent/agency would be a great bonus.

Probably all in the pipe line but as those in charge keep saying about any wonderful IDEA

IMHO the scale would be too big to do what you have suggested and keep up with what is already being delivered,not to mention keep the site up n running for free
You need only look over the pond at excaliburfilms.com to see bigger means paying to use
Decent Thumbnails have never been a priority as the site is more orientated towards the Film Info side IMHO

Sean, the amount of work that would require would be mind-boggling....how would you list girls who have done films as blondes AND brunettes as various junctures of their career? Boob size....same again, how about girls who will have made films at one cup size, and then gone on to make others after being surgically 'enhanced' (not in my opinion they're not!)?
Thumbnails would be great, but you'd be talking a lot more bandwidth....and lest we forget, this site is free!
Agency link? Good luck...a lot of girls have multiple agents, or change them more frequently than their underwear...it would be hell trying to keep up with it all. Plus in my own experience, there are a lot of models listed on agency sites that the agent has trouble getting in touch with half the time, so it's neither here nor there.

The search idea boob size was simply an example. The thumb nail idea is simply enought though.
I can understand the amount of work involved. So maybe BGAFD should keep the ACTRESSES as is. Although maybe they could include a *new* option - (something like) ACTIVE MODELS, this section could be interactive. It could allow the ACTRESS/ACTOR to create their own profile. Photo, Infro, Agent, Contact Details. Then they the ACTRESS/ACTOR or even the ACTRESS/ACTOR's agent could update the ACTIVE MODELS them selves without making work for the BGAFD team. Every 6 months the person behind the profile could recive an automatic update (via email) telling them to re activate the self made profile (simply by replying to the email) other wise it is deleated (thus keeping the ACTIVE MODELS section upto date)

Bearing in mind that any task like this would be an undertaking, I think it would be cool to put on an actress profile if she's active or retired, and (when known) the years she worked
Obviously there are hundreds of relative unknowns and one-hit wonders on here, but the ones that are/ have been known it would be good

dan g's analysis of your suggestions is pretty spot on but rest assured that there are major enhancements in the pipeline for this year, some of which will hopefully secure the future of bgafd as an open access resource for all.
and while it's true to say that we already have a 'to do' list a mile long, we're ploughing through them as best we can and constructive criticism is always welcome as a fresh perspective on things.
