Daily Sport photo archives

There's probably none, but do they have a website where u can view and download from their archives? Being a huge fan of Charmaine Sinclair, Sammy Jessop and others, I'dlove to go thru what pix they have and get them.

most things associated with the Daily Sport come with big catch to them so I would stear clear of the website if I were you.

Why not post on here to see if anybody has any links about the girls that you like.

I know the daily sport websites are as dodgy as hell but, their files/offices will have tons of photos that groups etc will never have. And none of these will ever see the light of day. Anyone from the daily sport reading this, help!!!

I work for the Sport. Thank you for all your kind words!

I don't want to get into a discussion about the why's and wherefores of our websites again but you are right in saying that we have quite a library of glamour.

We are mostly digital these days but our library has several dozen filing cabinets of images going back 20 or so years. There are 100s of unpublished shots of big-name girls like Charmaine. Impossible to estimate how many transparencies we hold.

You suggest putting them online for fans like yourself but I'm afraid it's just not commercially viable. Anybody's who's done it knows it's a big job. Find it, scan it, photoshop it, cataglogue it, upload it x100, 000 would require a full-time staff.

Once it is there what would we do with it? It would be of limited appeal and we would have to charge to try and get our money back. Then what happens? People moan that we are charging for content..post it on newsgroups and call it "free".

Like all you other industry professionals, we are not a charity. MAybe one day it will go to a good home but until then it will have to continue gathering dust.

I worked for the sport about 8 years ago, and one of the filing cabinets has a sticker on it stating that the contents relate to "Penis, Spunk and Testicles". Not sure why exactly, but I found it funny.

Do you know what has happened to Zoe Parker, and where I could find photos of her? She was in the Daily/Sunday sport all the time in about 1998, and did a couple of photoshoots for Whitehouse magazine, but then she seemed to disappear without trace. There must be loads of photos of her hidden away somewhere, and it would be great to get hold of them, and also any more recent photos if she has done any.
