True Glamour Girl Quality (Where's Dibble?)

Is Dibble still around?

I'm desperately scouring the "agencies" for girls with that real glamour girl quality, the character and personality combined with looks and good unspoilt body. And to be frank, I'm really struggling. You know, the kind of quaities Dibble always applauds.

It's for a current project and will require stills/video up to nude/uk mag. (I'm not putting this in the promotions forum as this isn't an offer of the work, it's just a search for girls) Got a couple of girls lined up but I just can't find that... that... you know...

Just though if there were any, Dibble would have spotted them.

Yes, I?m still here. It?s just that there?s not much left to say about the contemporary, Brit, adult entertainment scene - except that it?s now a load of dreary tosh, of which I find I have little personal (sexual) interest in. That?s not to say that I?m not fully prepared to prostitute myself and sell some of this tiresome tosh to whomever may be foolish enough offer me money for it, but, apart from that, I have no professional enthusiasm for the current scene at all.

I?m not surprised to hear that you?re struggling trying finding anyone with any kind of looks; class, charm, charisma, mystique and sex appeal, anyone who would make the punters sit up. I can?t think of anyone either (well, Adele, Teresa, or a comeback by Stacey, might have a bit of box office). But that?s about it. All the rest seem to be chavs, or are now displaying chavy symptoms ? and to me that?s as serious turn-off. So, I can?t suggest anyone who would fit your bill. Indeed, if you find anyone, let me know!

However, I?ve just been perusing the other forum and I came across links (posted by Deuce) to this fabulous female ? Julie brown. Now (from what I can see) Julie is a truly puka model and raving glamourpuss, quite outstanding in fact. This is the gold standard; this is the calibre of girl you (and everyone else) should be aiming for -













I?ve been aware of Julie for a while ? she caught my eye many moons ago, but I?ve never had the opportunity to work with her, as she seems to avoid the video medium (I guess it?s to tacky for her) but I live in hope.

You know, I was just thinking the other day ? when I first started in this biz all the girls in the mags and videos seemed to be as desirable and delicious as Julie, and I would often while away the time daydreaming about canoodling with such a goddess (as did all the other chaps). But now it?s exactly the opposite ? I so do NOT want to canoodle with the sort female who appears in contemporary Brit (or American) movies, and most of my close colleagues feel the same. And I thought to myself - truly, this is a ridiculous state of adult entertainment affairs.

Well bugger me Dibble old lad, I've just beeen looking at those pics of Julie myself! And I agree completely, that's the sort. I think Julie's long gone though. Dancing troup last I heard. Adele's a bit over exposed for what I want though, nice, but people would miss the point of what I'm shooting and just stick it all on yahoo groups...

When I embarked on this current project I thought, "there's plenty of girls who'd be ideal for this" but once I started looking it was more "where have they all gone, surely it wasn't a figment of my imagination." Seems time has passed more quickly than I thought.

I've had a few amateur, non industry girls who looks/body wise would have been ok, but they're nearly all covered in bits of tatoos here n there, and awful go-faster pubic stripes, which totally spoil the look. Might be time to look further afield outside the industry, as I'm bloody convinced the industry itself is responsible for a lot of it.

And I know what you mean about not wanting to canoodle with some of the current crop. A few of the girls a friend of mine has shot recently give you the distinct impression that if you did, a visit to the clinic would be imminent.

Oh well, on with the quest then I suppose, but many thanks for taking the time to answer.

I've come to the conclusion that it's just too easy to get into the adult industry nowadays. From either side of the camera.

If a girl will shove objects up her flange, she'll get work, regardless of how otherwise appealing she may be. But maybe more of a problem, many camera weilders seem to be so amazed at what these girls will do in front of them for so little money, that they will shoot any of them, and the finished product becomes secondary. Then if they can sell any of it to fund doing some more, then all the better. It's like a diary of their own sexual development, albeit from behind a digicam. It's not so much a progression of their photographic talent as an account of how brave they got with what they asked the model to do.

I don't think the pro's are much better though. It just seems to be a case of going down the list of all the girls who'll fuck on camera and shooting just that, no differently to anyone else, just in a different location. I'm not saying these products are bad in themselves, there is just so much same old same old, and as soon as a new shag appears, she gets shot by the same people doing yet more of the same, over and over. And the only form of career advancement she will ever have is to swap sides and start producing her own same old same old. It's market saturation at it's worst. Production line porn.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming innocence, I'll shoot it, build it or produce it with the best of em. I'm just getting to dislike it very very much.

Theres only one thing to blame for the over-saturation

The Internet.....its given access to every girl,producer or photographer on the planet to make porn be it pics or vids,amateruish or professional

Only the smart ones(Those that hold off putting it all on display straight away)last well after they've retired

I don't buy that all the girls from yesteryear were more desirable just because of their more womanly figures but more so to way they were shown

The internet changed all that and for the worse

No offence but Julie Brown just looks like another attractive girl albeit with big boobs. Me thinks you substitute this as glamorous and the fact she doesnt do porn and is abit unattainable as desirous qualities. Fair point but then there are girls equally as glamorous and attractive, even more so with the likes of Tamara Noon and er- Yeah, I see your point.

Go to Europe, the girls there are natural and hot and will set your nads on fire. There are girls that dont do porn and just do pictures that are even more amazing.

Personally, I don't think a girl that looks amazing is paramount: Hot scenes is what I'm looking for. Scenes that would make a vicar masturbate furiously blathering and spluttering about the evils of porn, looking for redemption in fire and brimstone...

Some very good points you raised in your post there Number 1. With thinking like that, if you are dedicated to this, you can help bring about that much needed change.

I just don't know why people accept their lot and just get up and dop something about it like finding those girls. I did plenty of schmoozing with new girls back in the day because I didnt like the politics of dealing with some of the girls who were already tainted by the politics of the business.

I suspect a lot of people are in for a rude awakening this year if they dont buck their ideas up. Judgement day is at hand. The man who puts his hand in his pocket is the true judge who decides who stays and who goes.

If I didnt have the name and rep behind me I personally wouldnt get into this game. The same is happening in the US on a tenfold level. So in short, we dont have it that bad considering.

Wendy; yes I tend to be too honest with the girls I work with and I can assure you a mischief is done to me on a regular basis! ha!

Terry; don't get me wrong, I'm not against porn, or even putting "glamour" above it, I too have my own fair share of chav involvement, and have been similarly questing for ultra hot scenes, it's just, having seen so many, they just don't seem that hot any more.

Well, I'm on a quest, we'll just have to see how it goes.
