i use to live in greece..but things change so your choice..but amonia square and area had kiosks where you can buy mags/videos but this is a main area so you pay more then again your going out of season so..personally what i did was walk down the side streets you still get the kiosks but cheaper depends on your time...once found one kiosk full of videos 2000drks each{5quid}ish..anyway good luck.

I come from Athens, though I don't go back there regularly any more. My info is about a year old but in general such things don't change much.
Omonoia (pronounced "o-MO-nee-a" - all "o"'s are short) Sq kiosks, smack in the centre of the city, are the easiest place to get mags but you will pay somewhat more than normal (still dirt cheap by US/UK standards). Look at all kiosks downtown that seem to stock foreign newspapers/mags (not all do); they usually complement their income with a bit of hardcore. the farther away from the touristy centre the fairer a price you will get. Better still if you have a Greek friend to buy them for you if possible, they won't get ripped off easily.
For videos your best bet are either the Video Blue chain (they must have about 30-40 outlets all over town) which is a porn-heavy rental place but regularly sells off older stock to make room for new stuff. Ex-rentals, true, but originals rather than copies and dirt cheap. This way you can also find older and harder to find material. Every tape I have ever bought from them has had good image quality. Similarly in the area around Omonoia there are many shops selling tons of porn tapes at wholesale prices, generally ex rentals from failed mom-and-pop video stores (load of those in recent years after sat TV took hold). Almost all Mom&Pop video stores still in business remain in business due to their porn sections and, apart from their own regular clearance sales, they will generally sell anything they've got on the shelves including their newer stuff. The newer the tape, the more you'll pay, though I have never paid more than the 20 quid we have to hand over in Soho establishments.
If you stay in the city for a somewhat longer period (e.g on an expat contract or the like) and have a regular address it's advisable to become a member to as many video stores as you can and get a couple of VCRs (even the best nowadays don't cost over 200 quid and you can always sell them on when you leave) and dub to your hearts content.
Athens is really porn paradise. Although the city is somewhat less safe than it used to be, it's still amazingly safe and porn is no biggy with the locals. It's everywhere (no concentration like Soho, you just walk in in any video store in a residential area and you have a massive selection) and people don't bat an eyelid if you ask for such. Despite a very obnoxious and popular church, Greece is orders of magnitude more tolerant than the UK.
