I have two VCRs which play NTSC tapes. If I link them together with a fully wired scart can I copy the NTSC tape? Will the resulting copy be NTSC or PAL? Would I need to buy a blank NTSC tape?

yes.PAL.doesn't matter.
your machines are standard uk,i assume? in which case they will play ntsc but not record.you will need a special converter for that stuff.you can try of course,but,your recordong will be rolling all over the place and in black and white.

100% right. They will NOT record PAL from an NTSC source. You'll need a digital standards converter to do so. If you have any problems in getting them converted, e-mail me...I can help.
