Is it just me or is porn less arousing than it was in the 80's and early-mid 90's? Perhaps it's simply because you CAN search through so much material these days.

I know our good Officer who regularly patrols these forums will have his inimitable take on this but I agree with Todge.

There is far too much out there featuring loads of girls doing loads of scenes that not only is the consumer spoilt for choice but is absolutely drowning from the amount of material on offer. Even if a lot of it is bad (which is subjective to the individual).

OEJ the porn burnout theory has been pretty much explored and explained to death. Some feel that a person can watch too much of a particular subject matter and loose the desire to continue viewing being no longer stimulated by it. If that were so there would be no fat people, no alchys, no geeks, no anoraks, no train spotters and we'd have all stopped shagging just after the Iron Age?

If you want porn with stories, it's there in abundance .. Look at the caralogues of Vivid, Metro and Coast to Coast or other US studios with contract girls. It's the same bunch of girls doing the same stuff in every movie, but it's there and it's churned out to fill US cable market where harder stuff is not shown.

I find the harder US stuff more interesting ... most of the UK material is too tame as it has to be produced with R18 in mind. I've seen not so good titles do well and titles of quality not do so well. It all depends on how good a business person is behind it. Some film makers don't make for very good business men. Its about getting the balance right and I don't share your thoughts about producers turning out the stuff they do. Thats an over generalisation. There are people in this business striving for perfection. The people I think you are referring to only make up less than half of this business so itsnot a fair comment to make.

Ok so I'm all lubed and ready for the walk down HYPE street but the problem is its now proven that HYPE and adult males dont mix.
