No. You can safely import adult dvds as long as they comply with current BBFC guidelines...

In essence, if it's non-pervy* there's no problem.

*As predictably defined by the powers-that-be.

When bringing in R18s from the continent as well as meeting the criteria outlined in the previous post, you must not have 2 or more of the same titles unless you have a licenced sex shop otherwise customs will assume that you are selling them on and they will be confiscated.

They also might be a different region (UK is region 2, US is region 1, etc). I bought the cheapest DVD player I could find and that plays them all no problem. Apparently the cheaper players play all the regions without a problem, but the more expensive ones tend to be limited to the region they're sold in.

99.9999% of American porn DVDs are Region 0. The vast majority of ALL porn DVDs are also region 0. Some European ones are region 2, but since UK is also region 2, that's no problem. Some cult vintage classics which may contain h/c elements may be an exception to the above, e.g. the Retro-Seduction Cinema release of Butterflies, which is region 1.

I buy just about of mine from Holland and there's never a problem. On a couple of occasions they have been opened by customs, sealed back up and sent on again with no problems.

If you don't mind me asking, the cocker, who do you find the most efficient supplier from Holland and roughly how long does it take from order to dropping through the letter box, with and without the customs having a quick look!
