TVX / Gay TV double standards

TVX, or tame Tv as it should be known goes to extraordinary lengths (no puns inteneded) to cover up the sight of a penis even after encryption. Gay TV show semi erect penises on their pre pin protected preview? Er why the different standards for bottists and heterosexuals? Both stations are run by the same parent company so why different levels of censorship?

It's alleged that gay videos here in NZ get away with harder content than that allowed in hetero, and that this may be connected with the fact that the Censor is gay and his deputy a lesbian.

'Cause everyone is shit scared of offending or annoying gays! Last year the BBC presented a programme at 9.00AM in the morning featuring the lives of gay porn studs. Can you imagine the furore if they had been straight? Check out the Elton John video for "Billy Elliot", features a young guy, dancing suggestively with an obviously young boy, intercut with Eltons leering face.
If this depiction had had heterosexual conatations instead of gay, I expect the producers would have had their doors kicked in.
Its not surprising if Gay TV is "allowed" to transmit harder content than TVX. One rule for gays and another for straights...........it's called political correctness.

They're a minority and will shout harassment/persecution if they're attacked ... they get special treatment and handled with care. Plus half the Labour cabinet are gay - and more than likely a good percentage of the high ups (oo er!) at the ITC, as the Gay Mafia helps it's own like the Masons do.

A small correction: AFAIK There aren't any [openly] gay ministers in the cabinet. Of those who were, Nick Robinson, Chris Smith and Peter Mandleson aren't ministers any more. [And none of those three liked each other anyway.]

The sad fact is that if you stay in a Hilton Hotel, Intercontinental or De Vere, you can get R18 strength porn on your hotel TV. It has been available since April this year.

So the real question is how can you show it in a hotel room and not on TVX or similar?

The whole Ofcon rationale for restricting full-on hardcore sex is that children may be watching. How many households where they subscribe to Gay sex channels have children at risk from seeing these images? Just asking.
