Von Boy, the Reverend Jampton is delighted to be described as "young", Bayleaf, thank you for your thoughtful follow-up posting and please convey my best wishes to Parsley the Lion and Dill the dog.

Thanks for your support... I know the mods make the rules but I'd like to think that they are also amenable to a reasoned argument.

I understand that but surely that doesnt apply to having the photo posted here? She didn't sign a model release for the whole world just the site the shoot was designed for, surely?

Once your face has been aired in a video/movie/tv I don't think you have any right to withhold your photo ... the girls can refuse to pose for or submit a photo of themselves ... but I would just publish one regardless. Can't have it both ways, wanting the pay but not the publicity.

and in particular the last paragraph of 1.9

This is intended as a resource of historical as well as current reference. Film appearances are for ever, especially in this digital, internet age. Therefore the fact that a model is no longer involved in the adult industry is not a reason for removing her page, though we do understand that, given the nature of the industry, discretion is sometimes required, and we will therefore, when necessary, disguise identity.

Might be a different story if the UK weren't a sexually repressed society law wise being run by the morally righteous

As far as respect goes NeilUK i wonder if any model who has posed for photos recieved payment and signed a model release and then decided that they would rather the photos not be published would they be willing to give the money back to the photographer and compensate them for their time and the expences that they would have occurred in doing the shoot, i doubt if many models are prepaired to do this so im afraid it comes down to what most models already know if you dont want photos/films of yourself plastered on the internet/mags etc then dont pose in front of a camera.

In Louise Hodges defence, she does keep her IMDB.COM Profile updated.

My own thoughts on the matter, If you make no apologies for the choices u made in life, u would be happy with your History.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us

Very interesting debate.

I have some sympathy with models who did stuff in Germany or in the US in the days when the internet was science-fiction (or, up to 1995 or so), but models whose hardcore work was 2000 or after - no, they should have known they would figure on the internet for a very long time and their photo should stay here, for cross-referencing as much as anything else.

I think the mods should put a very polite foot down about this.

I have to admit that I beleieve it should still be within the realms of possiblity for a model/actress to have her details removed. This is an excellent & pivotal site that prides itself on fairness to all - not just to the pander of us 'customers'. When a performer signs a model release she legally signs away her right to the images in question. That these images crop up all over the place is therefore leaglly not something she can complain about HOWEVER if she personally makes request to the purveyor of these images to have them removed, why shouldn't a sympathetic ear be given. In the case of this site, I request that they do indeed lend such sympathetic ears.

And this is written by someone whose partner features on this site! What I have a problem with is pulling up to fill up with petrol only to then see ten-plus year old DVDs on the shelf with her in all her glory! I have to say that I only get my kicks form new/recent material, not from faded relics.
