Those of you with digital satellite recievers (not SKY) will no doubt be aware of the hundreds of hardcore chanells available in Europe and also to British viewers who have a decent viewing card. The Adult Channel with the backing of its owners Playboy recently started a hardcore service.
Well it looks like TelevisionX-The Fantasy Channel may be also about to luanch a h/c service on Hotbird 13 east where many other hardcore stations reside. They are currently showing promos and the subscription price is in euros. Also they are using a foreign phone number. It is perfectly legal for a British station to show hardcore providing the uplink facilities are not in the UK. You may remember Channel Bizzare operated from a London address but had thier uplink in Amsterdam (they showed Ben Dovers original numbered vols. as well as some very sick scat movies from Europe).
I am assuming that this new TVX service will be hardcore because there is not a market for softcore on Euro TV due to the fact that all of thier regular (Sky type) movie channels go hardcore at night. I doubt wether it will be officialy marketed to Britain but veiwing cards should be as easy to get as for the numerous other h/c stations. Independant dealers will buy them in bulk from Europe and I doubt TVX will complain about the extra revenue.
I have no connection to TVX. But I really cannnot imagine they would try to sell softcore in Europe unless thier target is hotels etc. but even they have hardcore stations available to customers. The promos are identical to the UK service.
Well I thought I would share this bit of info with you.
Goodnight.
TVX-hardcore at last?

Re: TVX-hardcore at last?
Doubt this cause they are not buying any hard rights to anything. I contribute more than most people know to TVX and they have not asked for harder rights. Even to-day. I think they may well be doing a Euro-channel but why not soft it sells everywhere and think of all those hotels it will feed.

Thanks for that Phil. I thought they shot a lot of stuff hard and would have a huge back catalogue of stuff if they did go hardcore. Your probably right though otherwise they would no doubt have bought some hard rights from you cos a lot of thiers is only girl/girl.

Re: TVX-hardcore at last?
I would've thought they do have some 'hard' back catalogue. Back in the glory days of 2000 when I got free access to TVX, I remember seeing a reasonably well known brit porn girl (I forget her name - brunette with a butterfly tattoo - I think it's a butterfly - on her hip, has done shoots for Harmony magazine) and she was DEFINITELY - no doubt about it - getting fucked up the arse. They showed it soft, but what are the odds that they filmed it hard?
Phil's right in the end though, TVX have a rock-solid franchise for the hotel market, without needing to court the controversy of hardcore porn. They almost certainly make more money than anyone involved in hardcore porn...

There is no "controversy of hardcore porn" except in this country, Ireland, Afghanistan and a few other similarly enlightened places.

Almost everybody is now involved in hardcore porn, except here. The "hotel market" makes most of its tv money from hardcore porn.
Methinks Mr Magoo was right first time.

The hotel market makes most of its money from hardcore porn? What are you on? And hardcore porn is controvsersial everywhere. Even in America, where you can buy it in Blockbuster, there are rallies against it. Supposedly liberal Sweden actually has porn laws STRICTER than ours.
Soz mate but methinks Phil probably knows more about how TVX operate than you.

at the end of the day
TVX are onto a good thing and making lots of money. If they started showing hardcore, their licences would be X amount harder to bobtain, they'd get X amount more negative press coverage, find hotel subscriptions X to the power ten times as hard to secure... and they'd make zero extra money.
