Is there a resource for finding Brit Girls in these old loops? It's almost like they were never catalogued. For example I have a loop of a coloured girl who gets seen to by 2 windowcleaners. It's shot in london (dubbed of course) and I could swear it's Donna Ambrose with a wig on. Despite lots of chat about Donna in various places it's never mentioned (might not be her though). AFAIK there aren't many, if any of these listed here.
And, of course I might find some Jenny Hall loops from early eighties in there. She did plenty of Private, Color Climax and Rodox (still looking for this) stuff so ya never know.
Any ideas?

they probably were never catalogued. Pornographers didn't think fans were interested in ID at that time (many still don't, especially in Germany) and of course the girls concerend wanted anonymity. Even this year Zara Whites and Charmaine Sinclair photosets appeared in Two Blue Extreme under made-up names - as if no one would recognise them. Perhaps the editors didn't!
We'll put any suspects we find in the unknowns section, but unless the girls concerned also did glamour and appeared in mags, the chances of getting names are slim and even then depend on someone with an amazing memory for the 70s/80s girls. There'll be more from this period coming up in the next unknowns, but don't ask when that'll be for the moment. I have two names from Diversions (1974) - Jacky Rigby and Gilly Sykes - to add to the star Heather Deeley who is already listed. Do those names ring any bells with anyone? Also the trailer for End of Term (John Lindsay) identifies the schoolgirl as Deborah-Jane, probably a name made up for the occasion, but you never know.

Although I have a fascination for this period I am too young (yes honestly!) to remember them when they were new. It would seem that with the advent of video the producers dumped them all onto video and then with the 'underground' nature of these tapes in the UK most people who have them own a concoction of bits and pieces from all over the place which is impossible to track when they are about 15mins apiece. They always seem to be the ones that roll into view as a crap American feature finishes on a tape you borrowed off someone (mores the pity).
It's a shame because theres a wealth of info out there for us anoraks. Look at how many of Ben Dovers early photo sets turn up on the Color Climax site and in the newsgroups under all sorts of names. From recent posts even Ben doesn't remember them!!
