Hi there,

I subscribed to your site about six months ago. Loved it and downloaded everything. I stored it all on one of my two hard drives. I unlocked the media, which you protected with some sort of encryption. When I formatted my other hard drive (with my operating system) I must have lost the licenses.

I really want the content to work again. I know you aren't obliged to help me and I will subscribe again if I absolutely have to... but I would be grateful if you could suggest something...

So what you're saying is because you paid a months subscription to a member site you should have unlimited access to the material. By the same token if I took out some movies from Blockbuster I can look at them indefinitely?

Ok, I'll say it, subscribe, or how else are guys like me going to keep our models in (or out) of their thongs?

I still have content that I downloaded from pay sites dating back to 1999! No one at Karups is complaining.

I'm not asking for a hand out, my point is, I purchased a right to watch the material for as long as it was in my possesion. I did not breach the license by distributing the content. I don't use peer-to-peer or bit torrent to download anything. I am a loyal porn consumer.

The digital licenses were not time limited. The site makes a point of stating this - "sign up and its yours forever and ever and a day, amen." (or something like that). I didn't know that F disking one of my hard drive would bugger up those movies. If I'd have known, honestly, I probably wouldn't have done it. They are seriously some of my favourite movies, I go to pains to look after the porn on my pc. Im a fucking connoisseur.

Fair enough that the protection is there, but I am feeling like an innocent victim of software which is designed to protect content developers from those less honorable than me.

I think I can prove I had the subscription. Over to you, One Eyed Jack- will you help me out?

So if you purchased a dvd and watched it several times and then scratched it to fuck so it wasnt viewable would you expect the store that you purchased it from to replace it, get real!sad!

The 'subscription' model is dumb for consumers.

That's why the iTunes Music Store is so soundly beating subscription models from the likes of Napster. Who wants to have to keep paying monthly to see something you've already paid for?!

OEJ has more than one site and you haven't given the name of the one you're talking about !

All of the sites have a a contact email address for the webmaster. Did you bother contacting him first or did you just come here to moan ??? I know that he's a very helpful person and if you had contacted him privately, he would have answered your question. There was no need to post here as a starter.

There are far too many moaning and agressive posts appearing here these days, and it's putting industry peeps off from posting as they used to. This forum was set up so that the consumer could meet the model and the producers and vice versa. Please can we get back to those happy days.

The admin here do a great job and I know that those in the UK adult industry have a lot of respect for them for all the hard unpaid work they do, keeping this site running. Look at the number of models and producers who attend the BGAFD parties, as an example.
