Do any of you guys know of a site I could put some short snippets of my amateur films on?
Also what's the best format to save the movie files in?
Any help would be much appreciated.

If you mean Amateur amateur i. e. just to post not to sell or link to your other stuff etc uk-showoffs does them.
For the selling of amateur I think the adultwork site graham mentioned is popular.
