Hiw many photo's constitutes a 'set'? I mean I know what we see in on an online gallery isn't all the pics taken, it's the ones that that site has decided to publish. But presumably they buy the whole set. So how many is a 'set'?

If someone buys a 'set' its EVERY picture from start to finish of that scene.
Otherwise there would be nothing stopping you making 5 sets up out of the same scene and telling 5 different ones.
If your talking to give to the model, i usually give them the WHOLE set, be it 50 or 500 pictures.

Some companies give me a copy of pictures, but I have no website to sell them on anyway, and I usually only ask from people who I have worked for a number of times. Sometimes there are different conditions to aquiring photos. Some people don't mind you using them on your personal website, some do. It all depends on what u agree on.
I usually only want the pictures if the wardrope, make-up and set are all top notch. The sex is usually the most important thing on my agenda, but ocasionally when I can tell the pictures are going to be really good/or when I remember to ask, I ask for a copy.

In the old days it would be 100-120 slides X two (US & UK mags) so we'd shoot about 10-12 rolls of film. So you'd get about 400 images. The remaining 160 would be split up to other territories (Oz, Japan, Europe) plus all the fucked up shots of course. Although even they sell.
But now it's all digi it's about 150 images and duplicate to all these territories. Remember most mags don't buy set's outright, they only rent them for the month that they publish them. True there is a kind of un-written rule that they keep them for a year after. But it's only your good will that stops you selling on the month after they've published.
