Is HD-DVD or Blu-ray porno available yet ?

I have no idea.

At the moment I would have thought there was little demand.

Very few HD DVD or Blu Ray players around at the moment.

Sony have a Blu Ray player on the PS3, but it is only available in Japan.

yourchoice.co.uk have a few HD-DVD titles I believe.

Evil Angel's 'Vault of Whores' and Wicked's 'Pirates' come with ordinary DVD and HD-DVD discs in the same three disc package.

Blu Ray has more capacity than HD-DVD which may count in the long run.

The problem for Blu Ray is that HD DVD is the "official" format, and the manufacturers can create HD-DVD discs much easier that creating Blu Ray disks.

However, the fact that Blu Ray is going to be in EVERY PS3 box when it comes out will count for a lot.

Yup it's not going to be porn that decides the format, it's going to be games consoles - Xbox or PS3

Blu-Ray is absolutely going to be Sonys next flop, just take a look at Betamax, laser disc, and like you said the mini disc and UMD.

I don't that capicity will have anything to do with though, films(and their features) won't use the discs to their full capacity anyway.

There is a Blu Ray player out but it has been recieving bad reviews, due to its slow speed and stupid price - ?849.99
