as usual the excuse for poor quality in the uk is pirates,distributers,porn shops,punters,girls,eastern european mafia and everybody apart from the producers.how many more time are the same people going to come up with the same old excuses.if my comments that crimminals and cons are still happening is untrue i will give marino a toungue bath (salty).the facts are that porn has ,is and always will be about somebody fleecing somebodyelse.
if phil and co feel that they are being ripped off by distributers and shops are selling pirate it is up to them to sort it out.i know from personnal experience that going into some of soho shops and asking for my money back is like asking for a beating.

The only part you have got right is the part about the sex shops ripping you off..
Many of them put such a high mark up on the videos it looks as if everybody is making tons of money, when in fact the only person getting rich is the guy who owns the shop...
You can buy a strand video at the online place for about 15ukp but I saw one for sale in a shop in soho for 30ukp...

I don't know about punters being hard done by - they are simply consuming what is offered to them. Which says as much about them as the quality of the material being offered. I look forward to the day when British porno punters stand up on mass and say "No, stop, this is unacceptable crap. Please don't insult me futher by offering it me - I mean, do I look like the type of guy who would be satisfied with this?"

I said it before and I'll say it again: the main reason we get low budget gonzo style stuff in the UK is the size of the market combined with revenue return. Add those two together (or rather subtract one from the other) and you end up with...budget.

There isn't enough cash in UK porn to make lavish features. There aren't enough talented girls who could act their way out of a used condom anyway in this country. Gonzo works best because the people who make the films can't afford to hire people who could actually write dialogue scenes for porn stars who can't say lines anyway.

If you want high end porn, buy Vivid. If you want to see real people shagging, buy British.

But then, how many of you actually *buy* in the first place? There's no point bitching about crap porn when you dupe all the tapes in your bedroom and no-one gets paid!
