Anyone ordered from Excalibur films in the US? Do they turn up OK? They seem to be pretty cheap but appearances can be deceptive

question: excalibur
Excalibur/any US firm: I'd use them like a shot but I only do VHS and they only do NTSC: I know this makes me sound Stone-Age, but can I play NTSC vids on PAL equipment? Or can I get NTSC hardware in the UK?

Re: question: excalibur
New TVs and VCRs play NTSC automatically. Slightly older VCRS you may have to read the manual and fiddle a bit. Even older ones wouldn't. Don't ask me to be specific though, apart from saying my TV dates back to about 98 (Toshiba) and my VCR is a couple of years old (Panasonic) - they cope automatically. With my old VCR (approx 1995, Toshiba) you can reset it for NTSC. If you dig out your manuals they'll probably tell you.
