I trolled over that UK4play site, and may buy a couple of the Brit titles...however I noticed that the Euro/US vids were rated R18 , including a couple of "Private" titles from their E London branch (ho, ho) and artwork somewhat different from the "real thing". The cover shown of, say, Bring um Young, while non-original looks every bit as tasty as that on the Anabolic site, but what about the content?
I've never bought an R18 vid (refusing to scoff the scraps that our Head Hypocrites toss us) so have no experience to guide me: am I better off ordering offshore (coo, that's nearly onomatopoeia!)?

the vast majority of r18 vids are uncensored and no different in content from the american version. the following should make clear what you will be getting.

BBFC Classification ?R18? Guidelines.

The following content may be permitted:-

aroused genitalia;

masturbation;

oral-genital contact including kissing, licking and sucking;

penetration by finger, penis, tongue, vibrator or dildo;

non-harmful fetish material;

group sexual activity;

ejaculation and semen;

These guidelines make no distinction between heterosexual and homosexual activity.

(actually the law makes a distinction for them, in that it is still illegal for more than to men 2 engage in sex together. it's obscene, apparently!! i forget the details but it's another little nugget of nuttiness to add to the madness!)

The following content is NOT acceptable:-
any material which is in breach of the criminal law;

material likely to encourage an interest in abusive sexual activity (eg paedophilia, incest) which may include depictions involving adults role-playing as non-adults;

the portrayal of any sexual activity, whether real or simulated, which involves lack of consent;

the infliction of pain or physical harm, real or (in a sexual context) simulated. Some allowance may be made for mild consensual activity;

any sexual threats or humiliation which do not form part of a clearly consenting role-playing game;

the use of any form of physical restraint which prevents participants from withdrawing consent, for example, ball gags;

penetration by any object likely to cause actual harm or associated with violence;

activity which is degrading or dehumanising (examples include the portrayal of bestiality, necrophilia, defecation, urolagnia);

To be supplied only in licensed sex shops to adults of not less than 18 years.

Many thanks: talk about 'the devil is in the detail'! I think (and so does my firmly manacled tame lawyer) that allows some room for rampant hetero sodomy, so I'll take a punt...just a small one (so you've heard the rumours too).

If you watch some of the Rocco videos passed at R18 you'll be pleasantly amazed at how much the BBFC allow. Plenty of DP, multiple facials, etc. They only really object to violent and abusive stuff like strangulation and forcing girls' heads down the toilet. (And pissing, for some obscure reason.)

not that obscure, really.

the police advise the bbfc that pissing can still secure a conviction before a jury, under the obscene publications act and the bbfc won't pass anything that is in breach of the law.

as to how accurate or up to date this advice is, though - that's another matter entirely.

Pissing isn't completely verboten. It seems pissing on another is a no-no, but solo pissing is ok. All of the Barely Legal series show solo female pissing and have been passed 18R.

Solo pissing is indeed acceptable. The bbfc changed their own guidelines on this. I think Ben Dover was partly to thank for this if I remember rightly he kept submitting them and they relaxed a bit. Woodgnome is right on the police advice issue but the police are not being honest because they fail to mention that juries very rarely decide that pissing is obscene. I know I have ranted about this before but I get annoyed when the bbfc blindely follow outdated advice from the humourless mob at Scotland Yard. If a pissing film is found obscene by a jury I bet its because it also contains nasty SM stuff also. Either that or the jury is made up of middle class, conservative pensioners and Daily Mail readers who constantly rant on about asylum seekers and bringing back the death penalty. I must go and lie down now.

Hope you're feeling better after your lie-down: nothing like a good rant (see severally and previously!)......thanks to all for clarifying the R18 situation. It seems that the spirit of James Firman lives on, and that the BBFC are rather more liberal-minded (or would like to be) than the Home Office.

I think the barely legal tapes #1 and #2 were the first to show pissing, #3 cut for 'urolagnia' - pissing during blow job.
