Two Questions

Post by newagent69 »

Anyone know why whenever a producer or photographer comes onto the forum they get fawned over, praised to the skies and generally worshipped? John Mason's fanfare entry to the forum generated over a page of responses yet whenever any of the girls in the industry raise their heads above the parapet they don't receive the same encouragement. Without the girls they'd be no porn for us punters. Perhaps we should bear that in mind :-)

The trouble is there are to many girls that want to work within the Industry purely as a way of making very good very quick money. Thts ok if your thinking that way. But, then what happens a few years down the line they have lied to their Partners for example a few films come out then you get to hear about yet another divorce all splashed across the papers. Why ? Because they Blame the Porn Industry then the next thing you read is "PORN WRECKED MY MARRIAGE"

The Porn Industry is a good industry it has generated some of the top models this country has seen for years and classy girls as well.

This is where the Girls that stay in it for the long haul should get the recognition that they bloody well deserve not the fly by nights that every one raves about but the true Brit Porn Starlet that has had to work her ass off and put up with some of the shitiest assholes to come out of the wood work.

For god's sake give them girls the breaks they are the ones that have made the UK porn Industry what it is today not Mrs jones from lets be avenue get your priorities right and support the genuine British Porn Starlets .

Thank you

If the girls get the same kind of 'encouragement' from you that I got it's no wonder they don't bother hanging around the forum!

No offence John but your entry was rather messianic. You are of course very welcome but not as much as the girls like Chanta, Layla, Laura, Bev, Rebekah and Wendy et al.

point taken, but remember that without producers and photographers there would be no models! So I think at the very least everyone should be made equally welcome.....even you!

I actually found John's entry relatively amusing - I assumed he was taking the piss, actually! "Hi! I have arrived! All your queries regarding pornography will be answered!!" I did chuckle.

If you read carefully, you'll discover that John's 'encouragement' wasn't entirely encouraging - only if you get encouraged by 'witty quirks' about your hairline. One or two yelps from the sychophants but not much else.

On the other hand, the girls get quite a lot of encouragement from the people who's posts are worth reading, I reckon.

Yes the girls do get fawned over. Every time a girl posts people come crawling out to say "your the best" etc. Theres nothing wrong with that but a bit of harmless banter is good fun aswell. Im sure the likes of Ben, Phil, John etc do not mind a bit of leg-pulling (oo-er) but if anyone made similar jokes about one of the girls there would be an outcry from the fans. Too many people think that thier favourite model is a godess. We are all just people. Some of us have got daft hair aswell.

Lets treat everyone the same (with respect) regardless of what sex they are. British porn is the best because we can laugh at ourselves in this country (with the odd exception of course).

you're talking rubbish!

the problem has never been with "harmless banter" but with those individuals whose mindset means they cannot allow complimentary remarks to pass without making snide comments, (or worse) of their own.

no one gets upset about harmless banter because its - harmless! but when models are talked about as if they're pieces of meat, without entitlement to feelings of their own, then those individuals can simply fuck off, as far as i'm concerned.

trolls cause upset because that's their sorry business but mostly it comes down to thoughtlessness, ignorance or plain misogyny on the part of the poster. let's be honest - some of those who visit here and like to have their say, don't have much day to day experience of talking with women, in any social context. that isn't our problem, though.

it's great that representatives of the industry like john, ben, phil, etc drop in on a regular basis but if none of the girls feel comfortable enough to visit the forum, it would just end up becoming the sort of 'mens club' i've spent my life avoiding.

i can agree with your last paragraph though, because if everyone did act 'with respect' towards one another, then none of the crap we have to deal with, would ever arise.

And it should be emphasised that humour is not always obvious on the net because tone of voice, twinkles in the eye etc., do not come through. Some posters need to realise this.

It is also a tactic of some trolls to claim they were joking when their remarks cause offence and to claim they were serious when their remarks are taken as a joke. We've all seen that tactic used in real life. Trolls should not delude themselves that it goes unnoticed here.
