Might be the fact that most women don't do anal sex and are sick of watching porn made purely for men. One in the pink, three in the stink is hardly couple friendly fodder. I work in a team with 5 young, attractive women, aged 21 to 36. All of them have good sex lives. None do anal sex. The argument being it fucking well hurts.

It's like a lot of things, the fact that as a practice it's much more publicly visible (for example it was the topic of a workplace discussion for Arginald Valleywater) this makes it appear more widespread than it actually is. There's an article about it in this month's Arena which is something of a backlash, and the writer makes a point that some women do it not because they enjoy it, but because it's a way of signalling to themselves that they're 'edgy' and transgressive. Porn deals in fantasy which by definition is the the things that don't tend to happen in 'real life', therefore one can argue that if it's widespread in porn it's much much less so in real life.

It seems to me that the only people who really do it and go on about it are the people who make contemporary porn movies ? or hang around forums like these. They like to think everyone one else is at it and really gagging for it out on Civi St. (though they?re not) as it helps to justify them indulging themselves.

Quite right, we as producers are inheriting a dictum laid down by people like Private and Color Climax. Basically, German and Swedish mysoginists. These people demanded that every girl indulge in anal sex with all and sundry. These people created this 'fashion' that has never actually existed in the real world.

It's a bit like the obligitory DP obsession, how many guys, if given the choice would choose to share a girl with another guy, when they can have her to themselves.

In the 5 years of running jimslip.com i have not had one request for more anal sex, which surprises me. I'm not bothered either way, some girls seem to really enjoy it, so I'll let it happen.

I think the ordinary guy out there, I mean not the 'porn junkie', wants to watch porn that they could imagine doing themselves and if it meant pain or discomfort to their partner, it would turn them off.

I like to watch it, plus my wife and I enjoy it. It is fair to say that it took us both a while to find how to get the best out of it but now it forms part of our normal sex life.
