As someone who not only performs in videos himself, but has in the past produced them, shot stills for them etc. etc.
I think I'm in a good position to pass comment on this subject.
In the UK we had NEVER had any HIV transmitted in the industry. We never use condoms, because the performers produce a better scene without them and the sales of 'condom' movies are not as good as those 'without' condoms!
As for America, I can't really comment, but at the end of the day freedom of choice has got a lot to do with it.

Talk about synchronicity (or something easier to spell...), I was watching a US film last nite, and totally wasted my time as all rubber action (of the non-fetish variety).
AFAIK, sometimes it's the male who dictates, e.g. Tedeschi, but whoever, it's a total turn-off.

1) You seem to have bought into the statistically invalid notion that AIDS is the new Bubonic Plague: never heard of a monthly check-up, and judiciousness in your choice of sexual partners?
I'm sure all sane porno actors/actresses insist on certified evidence of freedom from HIV before doing the deed 'bareback'.

I know in America there are certain stars who always worked with condoms and there are also companies such as vivid,who have all their stars wear condoms in their video's as they fear someone catching aids and suing THEM!
I am in agreement that there should be no condoms in hardcore porn, as I remember Sarah Young once saying, and that if the porn stars wish to wear condoms, then fine but they shouldn't be doing Hardcore sex films!

all i only mentioned was: That if indivdual stars would prefer to make films with condoms then purely that is their choice and their right as individuals and above all as human beings.
I apologise now if anyone thought i was having a pop at them i was only pointing out that in this day and age surely it's down to those that will use rubbers to those that wont.
As i said, i am a big fan of Hardcore condoms or not whats the difference at the end of the day ...... None really when you take out the analysts (pun there). You still get a Hardcore product all be it sheathed, you still get your favourite star well shagged (although you may want to be the 1 who shags her),

I believe that any person has the right of choice and free speech. The use of condoms in USA and now also France is an alibi for those Producers, nothing else. To use the condom during intercourse is protection, then taking it of and get all the sprem in your mouth or even blowjob without condom is no-protection.
Resumee: the whole think is done to bullshit the actors by giving them the idea, they would be protected. This way they can be more easy manipulated.
