I ordered a video from vidshop.com by credit card on 18th November and have received nothing back. I've emailed them and have just got automated replies and one email saying thanks for my patience!
Are these guys just rip off merchants? Has anyone actually got a video from them?

1. 18 Novemeber is not all that long ago. Many companies ask you to wait 28 days before complaining.
2. Do a search on this forum as this topic has been exhaustively discussed before.

I experienced similar problems. No reply to my increasingly vexed e-mails. The voice line on the receipt was not working, only the fax number was, but they didn't reply to my fax either. Approx 5 weeks went by and my two videos arrived on separate days. Must admit, the goods were excellent. Original master tapes in original packaging - when, from nearly all other over seas vid companies despatching within the UK, you can only expect copies (?as far as I'm aware, with my limited dealings with such companies).

I experienced problems with 2 dvds that failed to arrive two months after ordering.
I posted a vexed message here about their failure to deliver or reply to emails. They had charged my credit card with the amount weeks previously.
There was a response to my post from 'Dave' who asked me to contact him as he could help. This I did and the result was that within a week or so I received one of the items. After further enquiry Dave told me that the second dvd was not in stock and the supplier had no stock either. I have asked them to cancel the remaining part of my order and refund my credit card, but I have yet to receive any confirmation from them.
I would not deal with them again, that's for certain.
Hope you get a result, but you might have to wait a bit longer.

See my previous posts on the subject for chapter and verse on the whole saga. I use fivestardvd in the US now - excellent service, excellent movies.

The first time I used them, dvd did not come but I wasn't charged and eventually I got an email telling me they couldn't get hold of it. I tried again and got 2 dvds as ordered about a month later. my experience wasn't all that bad but I've heard so many bad stories about them now, that I wouldn't use them again, unless I heard that they had sorted themselves out. keep mailing them and you should get your order eventually.
