For your information, Crescent in the USA were running a similar 'deal' where you handed over your credit card details in order to access their websites. They promised not to use your details or charge you, yet people suddenly started finding unusual charges on their cards.
The upshot was that the company screwed MILLIONS of dollars from punters until the Federal Trade Commission stepped in and busted them. You can read about it at
http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2001/11/crescentstlmt.htm
They fined Crescent $30 million. So always, always check your statements, because the company names Crescent used weren't porno names, by and large (there's a listing of those, too).
My grip with any site using an AVS is that somewhere along the line, someone pays. The snappers have their copyright breached (just like Sascha has in the video company thread on the site), and some snide little turd sits around making money just because he has a scanner. It ain't right, and it doesn't help the adult business attain any sort of credibility at all.
