Thanks for the responses below. For the record I sent cash by recorded next day delivery on the 27/11/01. They acknowledge they received my money.
I have checked with the Post Office and they state I would have received my order by now if they posted it when they say they did. There is nothing outstanding.
What I object to is receiving e-mails saying it has been sent when it clearly hasn't. I wouldn't mind if they admitted they are having problems fufilling orders if that is the case.
But just sending the same e-mail saying it's in the post suggests Ripoff or don't give a shit.
Either way if anyone is thinking of odering with this company I would think again.

Stuff can get lost in the post. And there have been many postmen caught stealing mail. Its common knowledge among postal workers that jiffy bags with no return address nearly always contain porn. Just two other possibilities to consider.
Most decent companies will send again if this happens.

if you were conderned about being ripped off by somebody hiding behind a Po Box address, you can get the registered address of the holder of the po box by getting in touch with the royal mail, try the website for phone numbers its an 0870 number.

Just had large order delivered, three weeks, no problem.
It does sound as if your order has been lost/nicked. Try writing again, and again after another 10 days.
That said, I'd be dubious about sending large amounts of cash to ANY company, beit porn or frying pans.....
