Kyle, I dont think Hermansen is her real name. It is sometimes spelt Hermanson, Hermenson and sometimes just Herman. A theory as to why she choose it (you are right that it is obscure): maybe 'her man' is a reference to Laura the pornstar's liking for men. I can confirm that Hermansen IS her real name and she was born in Derbyshire.
I know this for a fact because I worked with her many times and double checked it with her passport, which is on file as part of her ID.

Johnyrebel, I am surprised if Hermansen is her real name, for a start the spelling changed a lot from one film to another, as I said above, and also she stated in an interview I saw that her family didn't know what she did, therefore using her real name would be unlikely as it would increase the chances of them finding out. I am sure they know now though, these things always come out, and they probably reluctantly accepted it.

I meant to reply to third post by Max earlier but JohnnyRebel seems to have confirmed it is her real name and if anyone should know its him, she did several films with him and OEJ and if you've seen her passport would, i am sure remember if a name like Hermansen was on it even if it were a few years ago, after all think she only worked 2001-2003. I always regarded her as from "up north" and then read she was from Derby but even so, this would not mean she couldn't have a Nordic surname, Hermansen/Hermanson is surprisingly common in the uk.
Interestingly, although Johnny says Hermansen is her real name and the one i thought she was most billed under in fact her listing on here and often elsewhere is under Hermanson with 4 other versions on here I think.Have to say I never thought of it as a possible play on words " her man" . Think the passport comment clinches it though, I assume its standard practice over here to provide ID when first working for someone. I've just checked her passport and the correct spelling is 'Hermansen'. Her dob is 25/02/80. I hope this helps settle this confusion. !happy!
