You don't know what swearing is, any of you, unless of course you have been on the receiving end of a Drill Sergeants wrath for fucking up on the drill square. Turning left instead of right soon gets the wax cleared from your ears I can tell you.
The best bollocking I ever had in 22 years was in Singapore when I didn't return to camp for midnight curfew the night before I flew home after 2? years in the Far East. The camp RSM bollocked me rigid and threatened to make me pay for my own flight home. He never repeated himself once and I was well and truly abused. I just kept shtumm incase he did chuck me in jail so that I missed my flight and would have to pay my own way. ?300 was a lot of dosh in 1968 when I was only paid 10quid a week!
