are some of the ben dover dvds that are 18 cert just softcore versions of scenes from the r18 stuff. i always thought they were but it seems some stuff is only shot soft. Didn't he also do stuff for tvx years ago and these are mainly soft but think i've read a few scenes were also shot as hard and put on dvd releases.
cannot believe he would shoot an Angel Long scene only soft, I am sure i read a top shelf magazine with an Angel interview done on set after this was being filmed and the stills i saw in the mag suggest there is a hard version.

i'm getting confused now, i thought the action really took place on the 18 stuff but its just filmed softcore, previous post suggests its simulated.
on the shagnasty and muttley listings there are a few notes to suggest some scenes are simlated, i can't see how anyone knows as none of those were ever filmed as r18?

The Ben Dover softcore releases contain two sorts of scene: (a) those that are softcore versions of hardcore scenes released on continental, American or R18 videos/DVDs, and (b) those where there is no corresponding hardcore release. I don't whether the latter were shot as hardcore or not. However, Ben has been very active in re-releasing his older material on R18 DVDs, so I would think that if there had been any hardcore versions they would have been issued by now (and as they haven't been there aren't any).
