don't know how you managed it but instead of putting the angle brackets around the address, you've inserted the html "character entity" references for brackets - < and >

these create non-mark up, representations which aren't parsed by a browser - or something like that!

just type the brackets (above comma and question mark on the keyboard) at either end of the glimpse-it url, like so:
