Yes Billy it is but I dont mean to sound insensitive but this advert is part of the anti porn campaign to make the porn industry in general look like it is populated by people who are somehow exploited, emotionally fragile and therefore victims of the porn industtry.

There are no victims in the porn industry. people make a conscious effort to be in it. N one cares if you want to stay or go because you do so by your own choice.

I have said for a long time now that porn stars are merely people from the public so therefore the industry reflects the public to to a degree.

Social, emotional and the psychological problems are not indigenous to the adult sex industry. If anything at least these people found a sense of community with a business that allowed them to make a living through having sex. Lets not forget the good times, the parties, the sex, the money and even the drugs. yes the drugs because people love taking the drugs. people want to get high. Thats why they do it. Even if its escapism.

I'm not aware of any dark cloud but why just the porn industry? Why not over various people who just happen to be in the porn industry?

I know the woman behind that campaign has some serious issues as a result of her experiences in porn but I would say more often than not most of us are not fucked up because of it but more fucked up by the lies and double standards that society transposes on people in the sex industry in general. i think the real dark cloud hangs over the general public.

However to be fair to Shelley Lubben she may well have issues with the porn industry where people have taken their lives because of it but I do not share the same feeling. I probably would do if my friends were dropping of one by one but this is not what i see.

Yes it is a shame porn stars have died but no more so than anyone else dying every day. the fact they were porn stars is a coincidence so stop trying to put people off wanking by saying so.

There are a lot more people dying from HIV, alcohol and drugs and these porn stars are not even a blip on the actual statistics. So what does that really say?

I'll give you this, porn stars usually have the crazy gene in them to do this in the first place and i mean this with no disrespect when I say that drugs, alcohol, self inflicted gunshots are typical of the rock and roll life style that some porn stars expect themselves to live by or die by. the sensible ones dont tkae drugs and alcohol to escape from anything.

I'm betting most of them were broke financially too so this indicates poor management in their own lifestyles as well and thats what makes it seem all the more sad in my opinion.

What shall we say about the many people who have been fucked up by religion and turned to prostitutioon and drugs as well.

I'd like to see a similar video 'tribute' done for the mainstream Hollywood or music industry*, I bet the 'hit rate' is far, far higher. Let's see - Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy, Michael Jackson, River Phoenix, Kurt Cobain, Dominique Dunne, not hard to name 'casualties' is it? Perhaps there should be a campaign?

Got to agree. A lot of these people would have died or had messed up lives without porn and some are just tragic accidents. One example shown on that clip would be Chloe Jones, who died from liver problems arising from drink problems and a suicide attempt because she was in an abusive relationship with Charlie Sheen.
I could make a similar video about wrestlers, which is a much sleazier industry than porn`ll ever be.

Its fucking amazing how many women spend 5 years taking a dozen dicks up their ass a day, then as soon as they`ve conveniently made their money they find God. Pissed me off when Erica Campbell pulled that selfrighteous shit. "You`re going to hell for being perverts, I`m not cause I`ve found God"
