VidShop. House in order?

I am impressed with vidshop.com stock but am apprehensive about using them after the comments about them in the links page.
Have they got their house in order now?
Are they reliable?
Any words of wisdom please.

Oh, here we go again. Another sucker. You talk about "Vidshop's impressive stock" But they don't have much stock!What makes you think they have the stock? Because they say so? They just put the picture up on the website and when you place an order they place a coressponding order with the distributos! And if the distributors don't have it on the shelf Vidshop and the retail customer have to wait! Be it 3 days, or three months, till a new batch is pressed. Dear oh dear...

No, they're still playing the same game......if you MUST use them, order a couple and forget about it for 2 months, then use the bgafd addy and give them a good bollocking, repeated every 2 days, until they give up and send your stuff.

Terrible service.I waited about 2 months for what I thought would be original films.After repeated E mails and complaints I finally received the films but they were copies with German subtitles and poor sound.Avoid at all costs.

Well, somewhere on this forum is the truth... but what i read about Vidshop ain't necessarily so.

I have ordered from them 4 or 5 times. So my experience;

Delivery; 14 days is average, sometimes it has gone to nearly a month.

Quality: What I ordered was what I got - good copy, not a 3rd or 4th generation!
I emailed a bloke called dave at Vidshop and had a reply the same day, so whulsyt they may have a bad press here, I think they are no worse than lots of other suppliers.

I have always had the tapes delivered and never substituted...unlike other companies I ordered from!!

Same here...i've been waiting about 2 months now for my order... emails to the regular service address were unresponsive... emails the the bgafd address got responses, but still no video.... sheesh.

All it was for was an older Ben Dover vid... I should've just ordered from somewhere else.
