The BBFC have just seen fit to pass Angel Long's new film with OVER 11 minutes of cuts! The cuts implemented are ludicrous. "Aggressive name calling" is one of them. Fucking stupid! Some people like that. It's all consensual. PureXXX films should appeal the decision to the Video Appeals Committee. Anna Span did and she won.

Depends what aggressive name calling was used.

Ive heard some pretty filthy language passed.

It might sound ridiculous but I can think of a few things that would likely be censored and was too when I put something as mild as Real Couples out years ago.

The BBFC did have a point though even if I was still miffed

I can't imagine it being any worse than "slut" or "whore". At the most extreme end of it I've heard "cunt" used a lot.

Ok...well Ive heard "eat that baby bald pussy"..."dead babies" in reference to sperm (nothing to do with Angel Long of course)...Any references to anyhting that may be uncomfortable or cause distress to anyone is what they might likely want cut...Ive heard from Ros Bates their philosophy is "if in doubt, cut it out"

They just have to be seen to be doing their jobs is all Im saying.

Just because we are cool with a lot of things the BBFC have to cut it for a wider audience in mind.

I have no idea what language was cut so have no idea where this title is concerned.

I had a bit of dialogue cut with a girl referring to herself as a juvenile delinquent with a ciggie in one hand and a pint of beer in the other wearing a school girl uniform...the key word in that sentence was juvenile. The uniform would be alright if their was no reference to age with it

Yeah, I understand the references to underage sex being cut but the BBFC are saying the name calling is aggressive and frequent. This does imply that it's derogatory. I'm pretty sure it won't be referencing underage sex but, even then, that's not derogatory. But, as I said, some people are into that. It's not illegal or fall under the legislature of the Obscene Publications Act. It's purely the board's guidelines that they've installed. And it's 11 minutes less of Angel! I'd like to hear Angel's thought's on this or Pure XXX's.
