Hello all,
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thinking of ordering from US (probably Jaded) and I was just wondering whether the DVDs will play on my computer DVD drive - PC is only a year old. Any body else had any problems playing american stuff on their PC?
Thanks alot in advance

Re: American DVDs query
Hi Clueless
I haven't had any problems playing dvd's from the states.
You need to check that your comp can playback a NTSC disk
And also that there wont be any region code problems.
Sorry I cant be more help without knowing what Dvd drive
You have and what title you will be ordering.

Re: American DVDs query
From what I understood a non-region coded DVD is coded,
It?s just coded for all 6 regions.
But I am arguing the toss here.

Re: American DVDs query
Thanks!
DVD player:
Software CineMaster (came with Dell PC). It played Euro Angels alright, bought from YourChoice. Suppose this must be a region 2 vid. Sounds stupid, but the readme or help for the player doesn't actually say the region setting! I'm at work so can't check the Euro angels vid now
Ordering:
Little white chicks.....#12 with rebekah Jordan, and an Anabolic movie - not decided yet!
Cheers lads - big help

Re: American DVDs query
Euro Angels, in spite of the name, will have been released by Evil Angel in the US so it will be region 0 (non-region coded). In any case many European DVDs are also region 0, though there is a significant number which are region 2, probably because of US rights issues. A site like orgazmik will tell you the region coding of the DVDs they sell and often also whether they are NTSC or PAL - useful for reference even if you don't buy from them.
