Allegedly, Gene Simmons from the US rock band Kiss, has amassed a huge collection of videos of himself shagging hundreds of different women. He also has polaroids of his conquests and is also married to soft porn actress Shannon Tweed. He's got to be in the list.

Not with his make-up on, one hopes.......the principle applies in the States that a copy of each and every new book published has to be lodged with the Library of Congress.
Now, if this applies/d to video, that would make the US Congress the biggest porn-hogs on the planet.
As a footnote, the biggest collection of PRINTED porn in the UK is in the Restricted Cases of the British Museum (may by now have been ceded to the British Library)........who says academia ain't fun!!!

Nah, I think your thinking of the ancient Romans (and the Greeks although theres was more bi orientated) who had very explicit murals on the walls. So much so that when archeologists unearthed them us plebs were not allowed to see these works of art incase we were corrupted. Much the same as hardcore being allowed to be shown to academics at the Barbican a few years back but still illegal for us mere serfs who had to make do with non-corrupting things like the bloody Sport.
