Re: Escorts and the FAQ-allegedly

The reason why putting the word "allegedly" wont't save you is because it is used in a context where the allegation is substantive i.e. in this context saying that Girl X is a hooker/escort allegedly is actually saying that yes Girl X is a hooker. The allegation has been made and is therefore (potentially) libellous. So despite what they say on Have I Got News for You, the word allegedly is not a defence.

This is slightly away from what I was on about: I suggest that the crucial point here is that the action in porn and mainstream film is agreed on before shooting.
In mainstream, there is a supposition that the action will be simulated, in porn the opposite. What mainstream actors do/do not do on set is irrelevant.

This brings a new one: can anyone explain what the Hell is the attraction of lap-dancing?
I went with a bunch of mates to Secrets and was acutely embarrassed (nor was I the only one) when a slightly bored, scantily-clad gel draped herself all over me........you can look but can't touch.....this is what used to be called prick-teasing. A straight strip is at least a basically honest deal.
There seems to be a nasty element of power-play here: guy enjoys waving wad of cash at a girl in the illusion that she is at his disposal, girl knows that he ain't getting anything concrete out of it (except hard-on). Stupid/expensive game-playing. What's the point?
I'm damned if I'm going to pay a fortune (drinks/tips not included) to get blue balls, when I could be over at my girl's place getting my jollies or at home having a satisfying hand-shandy.

AND you've only attempted to address the practical issue, not the moral one I raised.
If there IS one. I'm really not sure, hence the request for others' opinions.

All I want to know is which 'mainstream' films have had top movie stars actually 'doing it'? Being reasonably experienced in the adult movie world I have to say that the so-called 'sex scenes' I've seen in 'legit' movies have been the most obvious fakes, unless the actesses' pussy is halfway up her back! Worse than some of Shag & Mutt [and that's saying something; when you can actually see Randy's dick swinging between the girl's legs I think the illusion is fairly emphatically blown!] So come on let's have some titles so I can see for myself. I think the prostitution question can be answered by the fact that in an adult movie, both the boy and girl are getting paid. And, by a third party to boot, i.e. the producer.

Good practical point about the boy getting paid, Ben, but does this apply to pro-am efforts such as OEJ? [If OEJ don't consider themselves not pro-am I apologise in advance for using you as an example].
The third party thing: again, this doesn't address the 'moral' thing, just extends it to now include the boy. The producer could in this view also be seen as a participant.

My request to you is that you abide by the FAQ or piss off and make trouble elsewhere.

I probably have more experience in this field than some of my esteemed colleagues.--If a girl exchanges sexual services for money, what label (if any) do you put on her. Is the criteria "art" "business" etc or what. We all in one way or another earn money by selling or renting our talents for the best price we can get. (Plumbers, electricians IT etc). We all can, and do, criticise and seek to put labels on people whilst still enjoying their activities-especially in the WHOLE sex
industry.
Illustration. With a good class escort agency a girl gets ?300 per hour less agency commission. One on one with a clean polite businessman, condoms. A video shoot takes very considerably longer for similar money & she is plastered all over the world.
What would be your choice!

Real sex in mainstream

In answer to Bens question. I saw an interview with Christian Slater where he said (or heavily implied) that in "The Name of the Rose" he actually fucked the girl for real on the monastary floor among the rubbish. I think the actress was only sixteen aswell. I watched the scene and thought it looked real. So get down to your local Blockbuster and tell me if you agree.
