Karina Currie and Dick Nasty

I know it's highly unlikely that Karina will answer this but I was wondering if she regrets ever making that scene. I've seen it and, to be honest, felt very uncomfortable. What does anybody else think?

Hey there
thought I'd come and answer your question as frankly as possible.
this particular scene was the reason I quit G/B (except for Suze Randall) back in 2000 whilst in America. I cut the sex scene and went and threw up, after agreeing to at least film the pop shot I ending the shoot early. I respect myself for standing up for myself and stopping something that I felt uncomfortable with and being quite a good character actress if I do say so myself, getting into that character was very challenging and uncomfortable.
I always now only do things I am comfortable with including co-stars so in some respects I come across as too picky, but this is my perogative and why should I do something that I actually don't want to do? and then be judged as up my own arse? It's a conundrum but if I had continued doing shoots such as this then i'm sure that I would not be in the industry at present and after seeing many, many potentially fantastic models quitting after consenting to shoots over and over again that they later regret, I feel I have retained my self respect that these girls and guys unfortunately lose.
I love my job and always will because I learnt from the experience mentioned where I draw the line and have since never crossed it. So in a sense this was a learning curve that i can't regret.

Thanks for answering my question. I respect you a hell of a lot for what you did. You are one of my all time favourites but it's the only scene I can't watch. You were well within your right to stop it and glad you didn't continue making them. Nobody would blame you and I'm sure you've earned even more respect from people. It's the only scene of his I've ever seen but I dislike him immensely. I don't want to see anymore.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to doing even more wanking over you.

I don't know which clip you mean, but, all of the scenes I have seen of Dick nasty weren't all that bad. Do you mean Max Hardcore? Now he is one nasty little bastard with no regard for the girls whatsoever. One girl, who has dropped out of the business, named Sopie, was labled as ugly by this nasty looking bastard and I think that she is quite pretty.
I haven't read any good reports of this bastard so I can't be wrong in my opinion of him.
Anyone disagree?

I can't comment on Richard Sheed except to say he wasnt flavour of the minute with Lee Ann McQueen either but at least she wasnt as traumatised as that programme made her out to be. I know this because I spent time with her when she came back and she told me

As for Max Hardcore, without appearingto be in direct clonflict with Rodders opinion seems to be a nice guy who tells girls he is "an asshole when he puts on the cowboy hat"

I believe Dave Wells and Rebekah Jordan can say more on this as theyve met the man in person.

I'll admit his scenes are unsettling but that doesnt mean they are bad. The whole thing about his scenes are designed to provoke a reaction and I'm sure some will see this kind of porn as a guilty pleasure and the step up from "mundane porn"

As long as the man was getting girls to work with him based on his reputation, what can the rest of us do? He really pushed the envelope on what is acceptable under free speech that's for sure

I shared a villa and many, many late night beers with him (Max) in the South of France in 1996 I think it was. And yes he was a nice guy to chat with and be around. But yep once the hat went on and the camera started rolling he became an arsehole !

I also shot Richard's (Dick Nastys) first ever scene way back in 1989 !

The one thing in max hardcore's favour is that once you'd seen one you could avoid the others. Dick Nasty has/had an unfortunate habit of appearing in lots of companies films - God knows why as he's bloody useless as far as I can see. The scene with karina is available online, i've watched about fifteen seconds of it - which i suspect is the amount of time dick nasty would still be on his feet for if most of karina's fans met him. The porn industry would be a better place without idiots like him.

I cannot disagree with that comment. He is worse than useless. He seems to be able to talk it but not give it very well, and he does seem to demean the girls. He should be gratefull that anyone shags him. He aint the best endowed stud in the business is he?
