Jaded Wins!

On 3/2/02 I ordered two products. One from Excalibur Films and the other from Jaded video. It looked like a one horse race, with Excalibur sending a confirmation email and confirmation of dispatch email before Jaded.

However today I received my DVD from Jaded Video!! They took a grand total of 5 days to process, ship and deliver my DVD from the USA. That's bloody good going.

I'm about to place another order with them to see if it was a fluke, but I'm utterly impressed and would recommend them - they're nearly as quick as Your Choice!

Surely, the speed of delivery can also depend on how fast their suppliers are in the first place. Excalibur seem to carry a lot of older stuff which might have to be specially ordered. Comments, anybody?

The stuff I ordered from Excalibur was very recent, mainstream stuff. If I'd asked for older stuff, naturally I'd have been prepared to wait for back-ordering.
I can't explain why they seem to have picked on me especially (and no suggestions, please, either).

What delivery method do they use for DVDs? Ordinary airmail packages never take less than 8 days (from day of shipment) to arrive, in my experience, which includes a recent package from Jaded (11 days from shipment).

I used global priority delivery. It took 5 days and I think that's brilliant. Post marks from the states. Don't know where you're getting your info from but it doesn't seem to be up to date

My info is very up to date, because I got a video from Jaded only last month. I have dug out the package they sent it in, and I find that it was sent by global priority mail, but I can assure you it took 11 days to arrive from the date on which Jaded said it was shipped.

However, as I mentioned in an earlier message, the package was opened and resealed by Customs. So maybe in fact it only took 2 or 3 days to arrive in the UK, but Customs spent a week wanking over it!

Was it just the one video you ordered? Apparently they get past Customs sometimes. I also ordered a DVD and the package was very flat and small, so I don't think it attracted attention. I'm expecting my video from Excalibur to be, erm, 'enjoyed' before I receive it though. Don't know if I'll be able to watch it either, with it being NSTC...

Jaded sent 3 lots of 2 vids per packet Global Priority, all unopened by HM Thieves, no add-on charges, all in 11 days from order.
Not a statistically-valid sample, but......
