O/T: Les Hardeuses Francaises

Rimbaud firmly believes that an occassional venture off-topic does one good, and has accordingly decided to sing the praises of the porn produced in the land of his father(s).

French porn is great. For one, the girls are fit. Not superheated ultra-made-up-and-oiled slavic fit as in 'Private' fit, and not fit in a surgically-enhanced American way, either. Just fit, in a cute, good-looking even without make-up, smooth-skinned girl-next-door way. Even to the half-French Rimbaud, there is nothing sexier than a woman talking filth in French (a little vocab, to understand precisely what sexual act she's begging for at a given time, is helpful - but not essential.

Plus, the girls love it. Native French porn (as opposed to more commercial stuff which uses French hardeuses) has much the same virtue as English porn - they're not in it for the money, because there's no money in it. So you get fine-looking girls enthusiastically bouncing around for the hell of it. Superb.

And some of the sexiest women in porn today are French - and startlingly low-profile. Impress your friends (well, selected friends) by developing a knowledge of the back catalogues of such delightful ladies as Karen Lancaume (tall brunette with a penchant for anal), Clara Morgane (delightfully cute and ultra-French), and Lisa Crawford. The latter, with big natural breasts and a blonde-gothic-punk look, is Rimbaud's current favourite porn girls.

French stuff can be difficult to find but try which stocks many of the works of the girls above. Try Project X or La Collectionneuse (both featuring Ms Morgane) or Niqueurs-nes (featuring Lancaume and Crawford and also Oceane, a French-Spanish blonde model with stellar cheekbones and a mouth out of the gutter).

The names L Crawford/K Lancaume/Oceane/Fovea/L Sainclaire (not sure of the latter's French credentials) in a cast-list are guaranteed to have me reaching for my card (and other parts).
It's the 'je ne sais quoi' factor possibly, coupled with their unselfconsciousness and enthusiasm, that makes them a cut above.
French production teams (unsurprisingly) also seem to understand eroticism in a way that no other nation does.
I wish I knew more about the French porn scene in general, but titles do seem rather hard-to-come-by here.
[BTW, one of my all-time fave honorary Brits, Delphine La Velle, is of course, French: if only she'd left here to work in La Patrie rather than the States..........]

Good to see the virtues of Franco-porn aren't lost on the world! Delphine is wonderful, a kind of supercharged girl-next-door (if the girl next door to you happens to be addicted to hard anal sex).

And Crawford, mon Dieu, Crawford is SO hot. In 'Call Girl' she manages to be the visual highlight of a film which also features Sylvia Saint, Kate More and Vivien Martines - a remarkable feat for any girl. They have an English site - I think it's the default, but if not then clicking on the Union Flag in the menu bar will take you to it.

Niqueurs-nes is particularly reccomended because Lancaume and Oceane also get extremely good rootings in it. dvdhard also have Projet X and Toute Une Nuit, both on DVD, which also feature Lisa.

To respond to JJ's point, I *think* she's French, but the only film of hers I own is heavily dubbed in German, so I can't say for sure. (It's 'The Inheritance' incidentally - a Private-style glossy production which is not without its merits - including just about the only scene I've ever seen Anita Blond in where she didn't look really pissed off).

Most French websites report Laure as being French, which isn't a 100% confirmation, but a good indicator.

She certainly speaks french very well in the Marc Dorcell films I have seen. So I think thats an even better indicator than some froggy website (Im not xenophobic honestly Im just francophobic).
