PS I never fail to get worked up going to the Foreign and Commonwealth (!?) webshite.These racist fucks and their fucking nerve are beyond fucking belief.It was only a few years ago that if you married a foreign bird you just wrote her name in YOUR passport now the cunts want to crawl up your arsehole with all the tact of a punch in the face.Fuck that and them.
I was listening to the reports earlier about the 'asylum seekers' burning down the brand new ?100 million quid detention centre (opened last month) and got angry (again), everyone knows most of them are 'at it' yet the government bends over backwards for them and places obstacles to my rights under the same United Nations conventions that I am entitled to marry,live with and work in peace (ie no GESTAPO) with who ever I want.
Then,thinking more,specially about the (customary) TOTAL INEPTNESS of not even having water sprinklers fitted,I begun to smile,at least if the fuckwits of HMG are occupied with the asylumites (and they are at least fighting the arseholes of the F&C Office) then,perhaps,they will leave us BRITISH with foreign wifes or fiances alone. [/rant mode off]
PPS Ben you should consider moving yourself and family overseas.I would suggest Pattaya,Thailand,its far far cheaper far far less hassle and no heating bills either!Seriously,it has international schools with Brit teachers the lot,and there is NO chance that they would look down on you.I imagine I know what you may be looking for in a Public School education for your kids,old school tie type handshakes in later life perhaps,that kind of thing.Well fair enough,but as I think you are still a bit of a rebel you should really consider becoming a colonial,having 'permanent traveler' status can have a seriously good effect on your finances (alledgedly) not to mention your kid becoming bi-lingual to boot.My half sister is British/Thai and she could ride her own motorbike without stabilisers at 5 years old (last year).Doing things like that here in Blighty would undoubtedly have the social workers and their ilk rubbing their casebooks with glee.Well sod that and,besides,its a good jumping off point with LA and Europe being equidistant(ish) and you are in tactical bombing range of both Japan and Oz too!
