Poppy Morgan: on album covers + a secret rockstar?

Is there no end to Poppy's talents? Pornstar, producer, model, chef, and now appearing on album covers and playing in a famous band (at least some people think so). The band 'Durutti Column', who have been around for some time and have sold large amounts of records and do worldwide tours, have a girl pictured on the cover of their 2009 album "Love In The Time Of Recession" which a number of the band's fans think is Poppy Morgan. She also apparently plays in the band. The guitarist's name is Vini Reilly and I've copied and pasted these comments from one of the band's fansites:

Poppy Roberts sang vocals on the Durutti Column album 'Idiot Savants'. Poppy Morgan is Vini Reilly's new girlfriend who plays piano on and co-writes songs (some of which appear on the forthcoming album 'Love in the Time of Recession') with Vini. She is not the same person as Poppy Roberts. It is Poppy Morgan who appears on the new album cover too. Moreover, Poppy Morgan is not in any way related to the pornstar mentioned earlier in this thread. Unfortunately, the press release for the new album calls her Poppy Roberts which doesn't help matters. Let's hope they get it right on the album itself!

*Cheers John - I thought that was the case too but wasn't certain until the gig tonight in Bury when Vini introduced Poppy on stage as 'Morgan' not 'Roberts'. The guitar/ keyboards duet songs were great.



---So as well as Poppy's other talents, she also plays in a famous band, co-writes their songs, and appears on one of their album covers. As we can see from all these comments, it is not her, but some people thought it was. lol. I found all of the above comments about this quite amusing when I saw them online as I was looking around for any new Poppy related material. (Poppy stated a while ago that she had retired from the business for good, but I sometimes look online for anything new in case she's started shooting movies or doing photoshoots again. Oh well, will just have to continue to enjoy her past catalogue...)
