O/T question for alec

Saw your recent posts about the Brigitte Lahaie dvd's you'd bought and wondered what the double Le Maison/Couple Cherche was like.Id purchasd Les Petites Ecoliers from this company a few months ago,This must be a new release, on dvd anyway
I first noticed her in films I saw In the local cinema in the early 80's such as Erotica,an Emmanuele film, a Come play with me title.Another was about six swedish girls working? in a garage.I was smitten with her and still am. She apparently lives outside of Paris alone in a castle

The double DVD was very good. Couple Cherche was the better of the two films I thought, though they were both good. Also has an interview with Brigitte lahaie, still looking very good, talking about the six films so far released on DVD intercut with clips - but it's in French so I followed little of it. Parties Fines was better still, but the DVD had a fault and it refused to play after about 65 minutes. Posted it back today. I'd seen this film before though. Now I'm waiting for Blue One to get round to the 80s and Marilyn Jess and Olinka. They've only doen one Marilyn Jess so far - La Femme Objet (YOur Scene call this Science Fiction Lady) on a double with Pussy Talk (Le Sexe Qui Parle). That's a good one too.
I reemmber seeing Come Play With Me 2 whcihc is supposed only to exist in soft version, but it looked as if it might have been made hard, as far as I recall. Missed the one with the six Swedish girls, though you can probably find it on

nice reply alec.At 3 and half hrs. long it must be worth buying if only to see Brigitte in colour(Explanation : Have bought tapes of hers in france which only play B&W over here).There must be many more which could be released I think she made over 30 hardcore films .She was a rare beauty indeed and also a rarity was the fact that she did mainstream films (Horror films)
Two more beuties Olinka & Marilyn WOW.French films for me appeal in a way no others can, there unique.Can you imagine the americans doing Parties Fines? maybe not

Was the b&w because of SECAM? Need to know for future ref.

Yes .French bought video tapes play B&W unless you buy a device to alter this. As I have only a few I diddnt think It was worth it

Some NTSC tapes have come over b&w on one of my VCEs also.
