Your Choice

First the good bit: just ordered my first videos from Your Choice, fantastic prices and they all arrived inside 3 business days. They were also all very well and discreetly packaged.

Now the "bad" bit: All the tapes are unlabelled in plain white box sleeves or even in the tape manufacturers cardboard sleeves. The only indication to what was in each box was a hand written number on the outside of the box which I then cross referenced to the code numbers on the site.

Is this normal or have I been unlucky? I am not complaining as such as the tapes are very high quality but just curious if this is the norm from them. I have ordered from Vidshop in the past and they (eventually) sent properly labelled tapes in the full colour boxes etc.

I realise that there is an expense to using full colour boxes etc but I think, at the very least, tape labels are essential.

From my experience, this is standard. Your Choice are the most reliable and fastest UK based supplier I have experienced thus far, and I love 'em to bits. However, the old 'white sleave' thing is irritating, nearly as much as the on screen information that tells you the video is copyright to Your Choice, half way through the film.

I use Jaded now for all my porno needs. They provide box covers and are just as fast as Your Choice, despite being American based in my experience.

Incidentally, Your Choice have had an update - got an email from Jay today. Plenty there for you on DVD if you're into the 'dubbed German' scene. Shame if you're not though!

Yes its normal. Been ordering from them for a while and they dont supply boxes because the customer copes are duped in uk from sub-masters by different agents hence different levels of quality(some use horrid cheap tapes). Presumably these agents are working from home. Quality has got better lately although there is certainly room for improvement considering the high prices.

You were lucky getting your tapes in three days. I usually have to wait about two weeks.

basicly the companies most people deal with on this site/forum are too fuckin dear or total shite,your choice/new view same company your films are allready in the uk so why the fuck it takes 2 weeks to deliver(magoo () ill never no.and how they justify ?27.50 is beyond me jay.are you connected to the sport??#

Jaded isn't too dear or total shite. They deliver quickly and if you knew how porn distribution is structured, you wouldn't be so quick to mouth off about prices...

I love Jaded too (don't take that literally): but how did you arrange (separate, I assume) delivery of the original boxcovers?
I got plain slipcases and nary a word about the artwork.

You been stung by graham as well? He posted me a film last monday, allegedly(could be consignia, not him), and still awaiting delivery.

First film graham sent me was very underpaid so I had to go to the P.O. and pay a 50p surcharge on top of what was missing (thanks graham). Because it was postage "under" paid it took ages and throughout that time he bombarded me with e-mails and messages on the forum. Some of which were very rude and accusatory (pardon my spelling). He will still think this post is complimentary the git. Dont make me angry!! He cant string two words together. And he sent me a "half a film". Mind he is from Halifax so perhaps we should make allowances. I`m in West Yorks next week so perhaps I will pay him a visit. Trouble is I would hate to upset his mam.
