Probs with Jaded?

Anyone else had problems with the final page of Jadeds on line ordering? I get right to the end then it wont take the order and I get one of those "page not found" messages. Some gobledegook about contacting Microsoft Support. I only ever have trouble with sites usng microsoft if that makes any sense.

Bollocks to ya Bill Gates.

Probs occasionally with Jaded late at night: try another time, and should be OK.
Either site overload (all them Yanks ordering their goodies),
maintenance, or on account of all the fish in the atmosphere.

I've had a slightly different problem: I get to the end of the order process, click on the final button, but don't get a confirmation from Jaded. I emailed Jaded customer service to check if the order had gone through, and they said no. If the order is successful, you should always get a confirmation message popping up on the screen giving you an order number, followed quickly by an automatic email to your designated email address, giving you the order details to print out.

it's never worked for me either, so i don't bother with it.

just email your order direct to customerservice@jadedvideo.com explaining that your having problems with their shopping cart.

list the titles you want along with their sku numbers, plus: your card number; your name as it appears on the card; the card expiry date; your address.

and ask them to mail you back with confirmation of your order.

worked okay for me.

Just one q, Woodgnome.
I've never done this due to my concerns about security: are they unwarranted?
Would make life a lot easier with several firms if I could do this with confidence.

nothing on the net can be guaranteed 100%. i guess it comes down to the evaluating the integrity of the firm you hand your details to.

if they're well established, have good word of mouth and much to lose in terms of their reputation from any nonsense on their part, you're probably okay.

i've used cards over the net the last couple of years, without any problem and i've applied the above criteria, were ever possible.

just avoid anything that seems a bit fly-by-night. jaded certainly isn't that. the truth is you're as likely to be defrauded by using your card in a petrol station, or a restaurant, than over the net.

maybe others have had less happy experiences than me, though.

Thanks for the tip. E-mail is not encrypted like SSL on-line shopping though so I am a bit cautious that any cyber-crook could pluck my card details while they are en-route to Jaded.

Has anybody had there card rejected due to it being exired.

Got to the last page and it asked for a five digit expiry date and where it said state you could not change it.

Really hanging out so i can get some of that star from Fame whats her name again Roxanne Hall Anal Jeopardy
