Well, I am fond of most of my memories of her but to be honest she was no angel and she still owes me lfrom when we were together, so although all that's water under the bridge, I don't feel guilty about recouping a little of my losses!

Re: The tattoo

When I was first seeing Donna she liked to embellish stories about herself and her life. She told me that the hummingbird tat on her shoulder was a design she'd done herself and given to the tattoo artist. I believed her - she was very artistic and could have made a career for herself as a make-up artist. She could also sing like an angel - well, like Kate Bush actually. She had the full Kate bush collection and knew every word - it was probably her singing voice that clinched it for me with her.

Anyhow, a few years after we split up my current girlfriend at the time (who also knew Donna) brought me a small pack of kiddies "transfer tattoos" - the kind you soak in water and slide onto the skin. Guess what - they were the exact same hummingbird design.

So much for passing-off art work!

On the contrary!

These photos were taken by myself at my house when she was (I guess) about 21. As photographer I have ownership. I have the negatives which are up for sale. If anyone would like to see the scanned images, just post an email address and I'll send copies.

Sorry to bump this ancient thread, but only just found out Donna passed away aged 44 earlier this year. One of my absolute favourites. What a performer. Such a sad loss.
