DVD regional coding

Re my earlier post about DVD formats, I've found an FAQ about 'DVD Regional Coding' on the Excalibur website.

This states that Adult DVDs are playable in ALL regions. It is only 'mainstream' movies that are coded in an attempt to control release dates.

So unless anyone knows otherwise, I'll assume it is OK to buy US porn DVDs for use on a standard DVD player.

BTW, Excalibur's DVDs seem to be a dollar or two CHEAPER than the same titles on VHS.

Porno dvd's play anywhere, worldwide,generally, but with U.S. ones, your tv may need to be compatible with NTSC playback. Some dvd players will output an NTSC format film(U.S.) into PAL for playback on normal English tv's, but most recent tv's will cope with this.Newly released titles in the U.S. are sometimes region coded(1) initially though, so beware!
You could try adultdvdboxoffice.com as they are pretty good, & do not charge postage, so the price u see is the price u pay, exchange rates not withstanding!

Try dvd-reviewer.co.uk for info on dvd players, discs, hacking/chipping your player,or, if you are not technically minded, recommended multi-region players etc. It's a fine site & helped me in my choice of player & where to buy it. If you don't fancy buying online, they also tell you where to buy in the high street too. There's a forum(actually lots of forums!) for all your questions too, & they are a very friendly bunch.

You should try it JJ. It keeps me perky but I find that there is less and less cannabis seeds in it these days. Mind the budgie is a dangerous nutter. There is going to be a budgie funeral in the not too distant...
