I thought you were meaning not so many postings, magoo. In which case, I was going to agree.

Crofter. Your best bet is to leave it on flat view then big threads can be read in one go. And an advantage of the new system is that when replying to a post viewed in flat mode your reply will now end up in the correct place in the thread unlike before.

Personally I find leaving it in "view threads" and "flat view" most easy. And re JJs refresh problem I find "go to top" or "go to topic" refreshes automaticly and removes the "new" tag from read posts. Of course this means that after switching from one forum to the other you do need to click go to top or refresh to avoid getting the out of date page as it was stored in your cache.

I sorted out your DVD>VHS problem though didnt I smartarse and you also had never noticed the "flat view" function till I told yer about it!

BTW It was me who vandalised the Blue Peter Garden. Simon Bates and Dave Lee Travis did most of the damage though.

Gardeners? Ive shit em!

Was I having a go? No.
Wasn't I praising your non-electronic talent also? Yes.
Did I cry 'hallelujah' when the BP Garden was destroyed? Yes.
So there.
P.S. If you're shitting gardeners, I'd consult a proctologist as a matter of urgency.
Now excuse me, I must get back to the War.
