Yes Steve. I noticed that too.

I remember Thatcher turning my home town into a military zone during the miners strike. Local policemen still tell me how the Met boys vandalised the local police station and spat on local bobbies who had miners in thier families so were less aggressive in thier picket bashing. I know a local policeman whos own brother still refuses to speak to him because of the way Thatcher used the police as a private army. Also Tony Benn recently said British soldiers were brought back from Germany and put in police uniforms to add muscle to the efforts to crush the miners.

And while I am on this anti Thatcher rant can I just remind you all that she admired General Pinochet! Evil old hag.

I wrote ode to America! Copyright Not Witheld.
The board is VERY dull now it has been split into different sections.
I will now do my own rendition of 'No Fun' by the Sex Pistols.

You and Steve have a habit of replying to the wrong thread (in this case mine), which prioduces a non-sequitur, as your replies never seem to have anything to with the preceding (i.e. my) post.
