It's a while since I last looked around the licensed sex shops in Soho, but yesterday I was surprised to find that in some of the main shops (incl. Harmony) most of the R18 DVDs were selling at ?20. If I remember rightly, the standard price used to be ?30, and I didn't buy them at that price!
Is my memory deceiving me, or have the prices actually come down?

in soho ?20 been the standard price for the past couple of years, iirc. outside london, with zero competition in most instances, shops can get away with charging considerably more.
if you're thinking of going shopping, it's worth bearing in mind that most outlets will offer decent discounts, the more tapes/dvd's you purchase in a single order

Thanks. I dare say you are right, but NB I am talking about DVDs, not VHS tapes. I know the standard prices for tapes has been ?20 (or ?10 for part-exchange), but I thought DVDs were more expensive.
